This project, developed at our aluminium anodising plant in Móstoles, is another step forward in our commitment to greener aluminium, in line with the use of raw materials with a lower carbon footprint and 100% renewable energy sources, or in this case, even self-generated energy.
For the development of the project, focused on the generation of photovoltaic energy for self-consumption, we have taken advantage of the incentive programme of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
The total investment for the project was €298,916.40. The aid received amounted to €44,847.46 for a power (kW) of 553.28 KWp / 440 KW, contributing significantly to reducing the carbon footprint of our activity and enabling not only greener aluminium extrusion, but also a benefit for both our customers and the planet.
